Founded in 2025 by Jeff Elliott and Noni Culotta, CHIMES is an Austin-based music house built at the intersection of sound and story.
Elliott, a classically trained multi-instrumentalist and performer, brings a rigorous artistry and an instinct for expansive, richly layered arrangements.
Culotta, a singer-songwriter with a background in drama and film-scoring, brings a strong sense of character, emotion and story to every project.
Part music studio, part collaborative playground, CHIMES works closely with filmmakers to build distinctive musical worlds that deepen the emotion of the story on screen.
Every CHIMES project begins with story. We enjoy working closely with directors and creative teams to understand the emotional world of the film, the inner lives of its characters and the vision guiding the work before developing a distinct musical language around it.
Whenever possible, CHIMES likes to kick off each project with a spotting session, sitting down with the director to watch the cut, discuss where music can best serve the story, and begin shaping the score’s tone, themes and palette.
We work with directors, producers and creative teams across film, audio, television, and branded content.
Whether collaborating on a short film, a feature or a campaign, we partner with storytellers who value music the way we do — as a defining voice within the story, not just a finishing touch.
